The InLine USB to Serial RS232 Converter connects modern computers with a USB-A port to devices that still use a serial RS232 interface. The integrated FTDI FT232RNL chipset provides a virtual COM port and supports baud rates from 300 to 921,600 b/s. This often allows existing software to continue to be used without modification.
