Reusing an existing SATA power connector: The adapter cable utilises the SATA power connector on your power supply unit and provides the appropriate power connection for a SlimSATA drive.
Suitable for slimline optical drives: Power compatible DVD and Blu-ray drives in PCs or compact computer systems directly via the existing SATA power connector.
Use a short internal connection: With a cable length of approx. 0.15 m, the SATA power cable is suitable for compact system set-ups where short distances between the power supply unit and the SlimSATA device are required.
Suitable for various computer systems: The SATA power cable supplies SlimSATA devices in PCs, industrial PCs and compact computer systems via an existing SATA power connector.
If an existing SATA power connector on the power supply needs to be adapted to the power connector of a SlimSATA drive, the adapter cable provides a direct connection. This allows a slimline optical drive to be powered within a suitable computer system. This is particularly useful in compact set-ups where a DVD or Blu-ray drive with a SlimSATA connector is used.
The cable connects the existing power supply to the required SlimSATA connector. This allows you to use the system’s existing SATA power supply for the drive. The short design facilitates neat internal cabling with a correspondingly small distance between the connectors.
