Can Idencom BioKey be integrated into an existing access control system?

Yes – BioKey fingerprint readers support the widely used Wiegand protocol (26-bit standard and extended formats) as well as RS-485. Are Idencom fingerprint access systems GDPR compliant?

Idencom BioKey systems do not store fingerprint images – only encrypted mathematical templates from which no fingerprint image can be reconstructed. Data remains locally in the device without cloud transmission. For a fully GDPR-compliant deployment, additional organisational measures such as a works agreement and processing activity register are also required.
