Das Gerät hat ein 12,7 cm (5') LCD-Videomonitor, der eine Auflösung von 800 x 400 Pixeln aufweist. Das Gehäuse des VOG 5 besteht aus stabilem ABS Kunststoff in der Farbe Weiß. Dank des Voll-Duplex Audiosystems ist ein brillanter Klang garantiert.
Der VOG 5 besitzt acht Softtouch-Tasten und ist in der Lage via Interkommunikation eine Verbindung mit maximal drei anderen Geräten in Ihrem System aufzubauen und mit diesen zu kommunizieren. Zusätzlich ist der VOG 5 kompatibel zu Hörgeräten mit dem Betriebsmodus 'T' (nach EN60118 und ETS300381).
