Neben der integrierten WLAN-Schnittstelle verfügt der VOG 5W über eine integrierte YOKIS-Steuerung, mit der Sie auch Ihr Smart Home steuern können. Zusätzlich ist der VOG 5W mit Amazons Sprachassistent 'Alexa' kompatibel. Das mehrsprachige OSD-Menü sorgt für eine übersichtliche Benutzeroberfläche und veredelt das Design des VOG 5W. Außerdem ist der VOG 5W kompatibel mit Hörgeräten im Betriebsmodus 'T' (nach EN60118 und ETS300381).
Der VOG 5W besitzt acht Softtouch-Tasten und ist in der Lage via Interkommunikation eine Verbindung mit maximal 32 anderen Geräten in Ihrem System aufzubauen und mit diesen zu kommunizieren.
