What is the Grandstream UCM telephone system and what advantages does it offer?
The UCM series (e.g. UCM6308A, UCM6510) are on-premise IP telephone systems based on Asterisk – without monthly licence fees. Features such as IVR, ACD, voicemail-to-email, conference bridge, fax-to-email, CRM integration and call centre reporting are included. Suitable for 10 to over 3,000 users.
Are Grandstream products compatible with existing SIP telephone systems?
Yes. All Grandstream IP phones and gateways support the open SIP standard (RFC 3261) and are compatible with most common IP PBX systems (Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, UCM, Cisco, Avaya and others). No replacement of the telephone system is required.
How are Grandstream devices centrally configured and managed?
The free Grandstream Device Management System (GDMS) enables central provisioning, configuration and monitoring of all devices – including across multiple sites. Zero-touch provisioning enables automatic configuration of new devices without manual on-site setup.
