Radio module for smoke alarm Dual Q Features: Radio module for the wireless connection of smoke alarms Dual Q. Backwards compatible, so can also be used for smoke alarms Dual VdS. Notes: If a smoke alarm detects a fire, all of the assigned smoke alarms sound the alarm. The radio module is plugged into the interface of the Dual smoke alarm. The network terminals of the smoke alarm can still be used when the module is plugged in. This means that combined lines (wired and wireless) can be set up. Due to the compatibility with the radio bus system, radio actuators can be controlled via an alarm message. This can be used, for example, to switch on the lights or raise blinds in the event of an alarm. Using a radio handheld or wall transmitter, the smoke alarm can be muted for around 10 minutes after an alarm has been triggered. If another networked smoke alarm, for example, is triggered during this time, the alarm will be muted. If an alarm is triggered via the 2-wire line or radio, the smoke alarm will sound despite being muted. From index I02, the radio module for smoke alarms is dual compatible with the radio diagnostic tool (2333 00). The battery cannot be purchased as a spare part from Gira.
