Area or line coupler for KNX - Connects two KNX lines/segments/areas with each other in terms of data technology and ensures galvanic isolation between these lines/segments/areas. - Can be operated as an area coupler, line coupler, segment coupler or amplifier through addressing. - Use as a segment coupler to extend a line to include additional line segments, whereby a filter table can be configured for the line segment. - Filter functions for group telegrams and physically addressed telegrams can be configured separately in the ETS. - Manual operation for deactivating the filter functions (separately for group telegrams and physically addressed telegrams). - Display of the current operating mode and the status of the filter functions using multi-colored status LEDs. - Filtering, forwarding and blocking of encrypted and unencrypted telegrams regardless of commissioning as a KNX Data Secure product. - Secure proxy for connecting an unencrypted and encrypted line (e.g. when used between a building (unencrypted line) and the outside area (encrypted line)) or when using two devices to create a secure bridge between two unencrypted lines. - Automatic setting of the functionality as a secure proxy in ETS6 after secure commissioning using a device certificate. - Planning and commissioning of the device from ETS 5 from version 5.7.7 when used as an area coupler, line coupler or amplifier. With ETS 6 from version 6.1.0 (recommended) additional use as a segment coupler or secure proxy. KNX Data Secure compatible. Firmware updates are possible with the Gira ETS Service app (additional software). Connection and branch terminal for KNX included in delivery.
