About Faber-KabelFaber-Kabel has stood for decades as a manufacturer of high-quality cables and wires made in Germany. The company supplies electrical contractors, industry, energy utilities and plant engineering with a broad spectrum of cable products – from standard NYM installation cable to halogen-free specialist versions. The product range covers all common cable types: power cables (NYY, NAYY), installation wiring (NYM-J, NYM-O), control cables (YSLY), halogen-free cables (N2XH), underground cables and data lines. Heat-resistant and PUR-sheathed versions are available for special applications. All products comply with relevant VDE and DIN standards. For photovoltaic, wind power and industrial plant projects, Faber-Kabel offers project-specific assembled solutions in special lengths on request. |

What is the difference between NYY and NYM cables from Faber-Kabel?
NYY-J/-O is a power cable for fixed installation in the ground and in buildings (up to 0.6/1 kV). NYM-J is an installation cable for indoor use and dry outdoor areas. Both types are VDE tested and available in various cross-sections and core counts. |

Does Faber-Kabel supply halogen-free cables for fire protection requirements?
Yes – the range includes halogen-free cables and wires (e.g. N2XH, NHXMH) for areas with elevated fire protection requirements. These are suitable for public buildings, tunnels, escape routes and industrial production facilities. |

Can Faber-Kabel products be ordered in special lengths on drum?
Many Faber-Kabel products are available in standard lengths (50 m, 100 m) and on drum in special lengths. For project quantities and individual configurations, please contact our sales team. |
