The self-consumption of only 0.8 watts or 0.5W active power per path is not measured and not displayed. 1, 2 or 3 converters with secondary currents of up to 5A can be connected. The starting current is 10mA. The L1 and N connections must be present. Connection via an FBA14 to the Eltako RS485 bus with a 2-wire shielded bus cable (e.g. telephone line). The meter reading and the instantaneous power are transferred to the bus - e.g. for forwarding to an external computer or Professional Smart Home Controller - and also sent to the radio network via the FAM14. This requires that a device address is assigned to the FAM14 radio antenna module, as described in the operating instructions. The 7-segment LC display can be read twice within two weeks even without a power supply. The power consumption is shown by an LED next to the display that flashes 10 times per kWh. To the right of the display are the MODE and SELECT buttons, which are used to scroll through the menu according to the operating instructions. First, the background lighting switches on. Then the total active energy, the active energy of the resettable memory and the instantaneous values of power, voltage and current per outer conductor can be displayed. The transformer ratio can also be set. It is set to 5:5 at the factory and locked with a jumper across the connection terminals marked JUMPER. The transformer ratio is adjusted to the installed transformer by removing the jumper and resetting it according to the operating instructions. It is then locked again with the jumper. The transformer ratios that can be set are 5:5, 50:5, 100:5, 150:5, 200:5, 250:5, 300:5, 400:5, 500:5, 600:5, 750:5, 1000:5, 1250:5 and 1500:5. Error message (false): If the outer conductor is missing or the current direction is incorrect, false and the corresponding outer conductor is shown in the display. Attention! Disconnect the meter's voltage paths before working on the current transformers.
