It supports up to 256 doors in a network and is centrally administered via the ekey net software. Fingerprint readers, controllers and management modules are combined into a complete access control system. Lieske advises on system configuration on request. |
| Are ekey fingerprint readers GDPR compliant? Yes – ekey systems store fingerprint data exclusively on the device itself. There is no transmission to a cloud or external servers. Data is stored as an encrypted template that cannot be used to identify a person outside the system. This meets the GDPR requirements for biometric special-category data. |
| Can an ekey fingerprint reader be integrated into existing door intercom systems? ekey readers are compatible with most common door intercom systems (e.g. Siedle, Ritto, TCS, Kocom) via the Wiegand protocol or potential-free relay contacts.
