The SCALA readers Gira are write/read units that can be used in combination with the SCALA access control system. They are used for contactless identification in SCALA. The readers fit seamlessly into the Gira switch range.|Both the pure RFID reader and the variant with PIN can be integrated into the switch range. With the pure RFID variant, a reader cover in the same color as the frame color is supplied.|The clear signaling makes operation extremely simple. The display is both optical via LEDs and acoustic. This allows the user to immediately recognize whether access is granted or whether new user rights are written to the ID card.|The transponder data is converted 1:1 analog/digital and sent to the SCALA controller. The security of the encryption is identical to the security of the air interface between the user ID and the reader.|All security-relevant processes do not take place in the reader, but are controlled in the controller.
