Das Kabel ist UV-beständig, metallfrei, längswasserdicht und nagetiergeschützt mit einer Zugfestigkeit von 3.0kN. Der Mantel ist aus halogenfrei, flammwidrigen Material nach IEC 60332-1, IEC 60332-3-24, IEC 60754-2, IEC 61034, EN 50399 und Eurobrandklasse B2ca.
Verwendung im Innen- und Außenbereich, sowohl in direkter Erdverlegung (in entsprechendem Sandbett) als auch im Rohr und als flammwidriges Kabel im Innenbereich.
Die zentrale Anordnung der Fasern erlaubt einen kostengünstig und dünnen Kabelaufbau. Das LWL-Kabel übertrifft die Anforderungen nach EN 50 173-1, ISO 11801 2 nd edition, IEC 60794-1.
