Residual current circuit breakers (RCCB) switch off the power supply when dangerously high residual currents occur. In this way, they protect people, animals and systems. DFS 2 are two-pole residual current circuit breakers for single-phase networks. In the standard version, the compact devices are two modules wide. They are available with many different residual current types and versions with rated currents of up to 125 A. The large double-deck terminals can also accommodate large conductor cross-sections. The tripped position of the multi-function switch toggle makes troubleshooting easier. The free label software helps with labeling. Type A switches are sensitive to pulse and alternating current. This function is independent of the mains voltage. Residual current circuit breakers in KV version (KV for short-time delayed) are considerably less sensitive to short-term pulse-shaped surge and residual currents. They thus increase system availability. The additional protection (personal protection) is retained. The short-time delayed switches can therefore be used without any problem instead of a standard switch. Standard devices are designed for monitoring circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz. Properties: high immunity to surge fault currents and mains voltage-driven follow-on current pulses, tripping independent of mains and auxiliary voltage, sensitive to alternating and pulsating direct fault currents (type A), small size for all rated currents, high short-circuit strength, double-sided double-deck terminals for large conductor cross-sections and rail connections, switch position indicator, viewing window for labels, multi-function switch toggle with three positions: 'on', 'off', 'tripped', connection C1, any neutral conductor position, mounting type: quick fastening to mounting rail, any installation position, any feed-in direction, areas of application: power supplies for residential and commercial buildings as well as industrial plants with TN-S, TT and TN-CS networks in which conventional RCCBs trip undesirably as a result of transient leakage currents, e.g. B. Systems with long cable lengths behind the RCCB, lighting systems with many fluorescent lamps (> 20), computer systems and solariums. Use in TN-C networks and for protecting systems in which electronic equipment can cause smooth DC residual currents or residual currents with frequencies other than 50 Hz is excluded. Comprehensive protection is not provided here. For such applications, we recommend our universal current sensitive residual current circuit breakers (type B or B+).
