C5 / C6 - The Cloverleaf Connector (IEC 60320)
Three-pin 2.5 A connector with protective earth - the global standard for notebook power adapters and small class I devices.
The cloverleaf plug C5/C6 - in English-speaking markets often called the „Mickey Mouse connector“ - is the compact class I variant of the IEC 60320 family. Three round contacts in the characteristic cloverleaf arrangement, 2.5 A at 70 deg C. Application: power cords for notebooks (especially Apple, IBM/Lenovo, HP), small printers, some audio gear. The unmistakable geometry prevents reverse insertion.
