Yes – 2D-capable Cino models (imaging scanners) read all common 2D symbologies: QR code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec and all GS1 variants. 1D laser scanners read linear codes only. The choice of model therefore depends on the application – 1D-only or 2D.

What range do Cino wireless scanners offer? Cino F series wireless scanners using the 2.4 GHz proprietary protocol typically achieve 50–100 m range indoors to the base unit. Bluetooth models operate in the Class 1 range with up to 100 m. For large warehouses, models with onboard storage for offline batch mode are recommended – data is transferred to the base when within range.

How are Cino scanners integrated with existing POS software? Cino scanners with USB-HID connection are recognised by the operating system as a keyboard – compatible with any POS software that processes keyboard input, without drivers or API.
