The PowerWalker VI (Voltage Independent) series ensures a stable and consistent power supply. Thanks to the integrated AVR function (see AVR product group for description), all connected devices are protected even during mains operation. The AVR function makes it possible to compensate for power fluctuations within certain limits without having to rely on the UPS batteries. This results in a longer battery life. In the event of major power fluctuations and in the event of a total power failure, the UPS switches to battery mode. The connected devices are then supplied and optimally protected by the alternating current generated by the UPS from the batteries. All devices in the PowerWalker VI series are equipped with a USB port and most also with a serial (RS-232) interface. This enables connection to almost any PC system to monitor and control both the connected UPS and other UPSs in your own network. Monitoring software is included for this purpose. Optionally available plug-in cards (SNMP, AS/400) expand these connection options.
