The Pro Switching System 1U NBS prevents costly network downtime by offering a reliable A/B gang switching capability within your network. It provides multiport switching to facilitate transitions between primary and backup networks, ensuring continuous productivity and uptime. The A/B position is latched to maintain signal transmission even during a power loss. Switching control is available manually, electronically via an RS-232 local console, or remotely over TCP/IP with managed models. The lockable gang switch secures settings with a removable key.

Fiber versions use high-reliability micro-mirror optical mechanisms, while copper versions operate with durable telecom relays. Both versions are transparent to data rates, protocols, and signal levels. Copper models support networks up to gigabit speed (model NBSALL8). This compact, rack-mountable 1U chassis offers dual power inputs for redundancy. Multiple units can be daisy-chained for up to 4080 ports or 255 chassis, supporting large-scale network installations.
