The Pro Switching System 1U NBS is a robust and versatile A/B gang switching solution designed to prevent costly network downtimes and interruptions. This 1U rackmount system is ideal for critical applications in government, military, broadcast, healthcare, and industrial networks, offering both manual and electronic switching via RS-232 and TCP/IP.
This switch system offers multi-port switching between SC multimode fiber, 10/100, and 10/100/1000 Ethernet copper lines. The latch function ensures that the A/B switch position is maintained even during power outages, maximizing connection reliability. With a key lock function to secure gang switching, the system can be controlled locally through RS-232 or remotely through the network interface (in managed versions). A unique optical micro-mirror technology ensures reliable and interference-free transmission in fiber networks, while copper versions are equipped with highly reliable internal telecommunication relays.
The auto-bypass and auto-recovery features ensure that in the event of a primary network connection failure, the system automatically switches to a backup connection. The system is available in unmanaged and network-managed versions, with the option of four or six fiber ports or eight or 16 copper ports.
