The RS-232/422/485 fiber optic line drivers enable you to connect any serial devices using half- or full-duplex communication over two multimode ST fibers for distances of up to four kilometers. RS-232 signals are supported at speeds up to 115.2 Kbps, and RS-422 or RS-485 signals reach up to 460.8 Kbps. These line drivers can also replace converters and optical isolators for connecting serial devices over longer distances.
