The Emerald® SE DVI IP-based KVM Extender provides full HD KVM extension and switching for physical and virtual machines over IP-based CATx KVM connections. System Design:

Emerald includes transmitters connecting computers or virtual machines and receivers connecting user consoles. Use Emerald SE for point-to-point extension over CATx or integrate multiple units into a KVM matrix switching system.

Network Requirements:

Emerald requires a standard Gigabit Ethernet network for HD video. Depending on the number of endpoints, a 10-Gigabit switch may be needed. The network infrastructure can be built based on IEEE 802.3 standards.
