ServSwitch™ Wizard Extenders not only make it easy to place CPUs or ServSwitch KVM switches up to 200 meters from workstations, they are also expandable.
If the installation is small, use one or two Wizard Extender Kits (ACU5010A). Each kit includes a transmitter module for local CPU connections and a receiver module for remote workstation connections (keyboard, monitor and mouse).
And as small installations grow into larger ones, up to 16 of the local or remote modules can be installed in the optional 2U chassis (ACU5000A) for mounting in any standard 19 cabinet or rack.

The receiver module (ACU5011A) can also be ordered individually and paired
with a ServSwitch Duo or ServSwitch Quadro. These KVM switches have built-in CAT5 transmitters. In this setup, the keyboard, monitor and mouse can be placed up to 200 meters away from the Duo or Quadro. The receiver module has an optional password security feature that, when activated, turns off the video and disconnects the keyboard and mouse.
Affordability and compatibility.
This powerful KVM extender uses inexpensive CAT5 cables - like the UTP cable that may already be installed in a building - and works with all IBM PCs and compatible devices. The extender supports Alpha, SGI and RS/6000™ computers as well as Microsoft® IntelliMouse®, IntelliMouse Explorer and other popular wheel mice.
The extender also has ports for PS/2 keyboards and mice.
NEW! Wizard Dual Video Local Unit
The local dual video unit offers PS/2 K/M expansion as well as dual video! It can be set to either split a single VGA input signal to transmit to two remote locations or to transmit two separate video signals along with the K/M signals. (Each video signal requires a single 4-pair UTP)
