Description:

The Agility Extender enables powerful extension of DVI video, audio, USB HID, USB 2.0, and RS-232 signals over a Gigabit network in real-time. This allows critical hardware components to be placed in remote, climate-controlled environments while maintaining a perfect desktop experience.

Flexible Media Options:

In addition to the CATx connection, Agility offers an SFP port for fiber extensions. Use the CATx interface for distances up to 100 meters, or extend further using a Gigabit Ethernet switch for additional 100 m segments. With the SFP ports, you can use multimode fiber for distances up to 500 m or singlemode fiber for up to 10 km.

Pixel-Perfect Video:

Agility Extenders deliver pixel-perfect HD video and support models like Single Link (1920x1200), Dual Head (2x 1920x1200), and Dual Link DVI (2560x1600). For demanding video applications, bandwidth aggregation allows for resolutions up to 1080p or RGB 4:4:4 at 60 fps.

Teaming for Redundancy and Aggregation:

Agility supports two independent Ethernet connections for redundancy or bandwidth aggregation. This allows throughput of up to 2GB, ideal for maintaining high-quality video in graphics-intensive applications.

USB 2.0:

Beyond standard USB devices such as mice and keyboards, Agility Extenders support specialized devices like graphic tablets or 3D controllers. For increased security, the system can disable non-HID devices, preventing unwanted storage devices from connecting.

Out-of-Band Remote Access:

The Agility Dual VNC (ACR1012A-T) provides an additional RJ-45 management port, allowing BIOS-level access remotely via VNC or Java. This reduces downtime and maintenance costs, as no on-site service is needed.

Easy Expansion into a KVM Matrix:

Agility Extenders are part of the Agility Matrix Switching solution and can easily be expanded into a matrix system that connects multiple computers and users. The iPATH management server enables central control, resource sharing, and video multicasting.
