Each individual port of the BF2E1 module can be configured individually in the NT (Network Termination) or in the TE (Terminal Equipment). mode. The PinOut of the BF2E1 is always in TE mode with pins 1,2,4,5. For this reason, it may be necessary to use a crossover cable when operating in NT mode. You can find a corresponding crossed cable, the BFE1Cross cable, under our accessories. The terminating resistor of 120 Ohm can be set via DIP switches on the module.
