This software ensures controlled shutdown of physical servers, virtual machines, and hyperconverged infrastructures (HCI) in case of impending battery depletion, thereby avoiding hardware damage and data loss. The UPS is also compatible with EcoStruxure IT or third-party management platforms, facilitating integration into existing IT infrastructures.
A key advantage of the SRTL5KRM2UI is the use of Lithium-Ion batteries (Li-Ion). These offer a significantly longer lifespan (up to 10 years), are more compact, and approximately 30% lighter than conventional lead-acid batteries, reducing space requirements and simplifying installation.
