Anycubic was founded in 2015 by a PhD holder in Shenzhen and within a few years became one of the globally best-selling 3D printer manufacturers. The company integrates research, development, manufacturing and distribution under one roof and operates its own production facilities in China.

The product portfolio is divided into two main lines: the Kobra FDM series (Fused Deposition Modeling) for PLA, ABS, PETG and composite filaments, and the Photon resin series (MSLA/LCD) for high-resolution objects from UV resin. Both are complemented by slicing software, filaments, resins and post-processing equipment.

Anycubic printers are used in automotive prototyping, medical technology, education, architecture, jewelry and product design, as well as small-batch manufacturing of spare parts and assemblies. All devices are CE and FCC certified and RoHS compliant.

FDM or Resin – which technology is suitable for which application?

FDM (Kobra series) is suitable for robust functional parts, large volumes and technical plastics (ABS, PETG, CF filaments). Resin (Photon series) delivers significantly higher resolution and smoother surfaces – ideal for jewelry, dental technology, architectural models and miniatures. Resin processing requires protective equipment and an extraction system.

Which filaments can I use in Anycubic Kobra printers?

Anycubic Kobra printers support standard FDM filaments with 1.75 mm diameter: PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, HIPS as well as composite materials with wood, metal or carbon fiber fill. Maximum print temperature from 260 °C (depending on model). Third-party filaments are compatible.

Are Anycubic printers suitable for commercial continuous operation?

Anycubic printers are CE and RoHS certified and constructed for intensive operation. For production environments we recommend the Kobra Max/Pro models with direct drive extruder and hardened nozzle system. For high-volume production, a farm setup of multiple devices is recommended. We are happy to advise on optimal configurations.
