For example, the most ideal installation locations in a building can be selected for WLAN access points without having to pay attention to the power cabling.
Switches that are not PoE-capable can be retrofitted with Power over Ethernet at low cost, especially if you only need a few ports with PoE supply. Here the ALL0488V4 saves you having to purchase a PoE switch.
