Es verfügt über direkte Schnittstellen für Türöffner und Türkontakt und eignet sich sowohl für Standalone-Installationen als auch für den Betrieb in zentral verwalteten Zutrittssystemen. Die Stromversorgung und Datenkommunikation erfolgen über Power over Ethernet (PoE), wodurch sich Installationsaufwand und Verkabelung reduzieren. Die Access Unit 2.0 unterstützt unterschiedliche Authentifizierungsverfahren und ermöglicht eine projektspezifische Auswahl der passenden Zutrittsmethode. Das flache, robuste Design erlaubt den Einsatz in gewerblichen, wohnwirtschaftlichen und infrastrukturellen Umgebungen. 2N Access Unit 2.0 – QR unterstützt die Authentifizierung per QR-Code, z. B. für zeitlich begrenzte oder einmalige Zutrittsberechtigungen. Geeignet für Besucher-, Lieferanten- und temporäre Zutrittsszenarien.
