SR3D Safety Switching Device – Reliable Safety Technology for Continuous Operation in Combustion Systems

The SR3D is a universally applicable safety switching device with three safe relay outputs. It is specially designed for use in combustion systems in continuous operation and meets the stringent requirements of EN 50156-1. Additionally, it is certified by Germanischer Lloyd (GL) under approval number 32915-06HH, enabling its use in maritime applications, such as waste incineration plants on ships.

The SR3D offers a variety of safety functions, including emergency stop monitoring, sliding protective door monitoring, light curtain monitoring, and functioning as a secure coupling relay. With a high safety classification of PL e, Category 4, and SILCL 3, the device provides optimal protection for people and machinery. Thanks to its compact design with a width of only 22.5 mm, it can be installed in space-saving control cabinets.

The SR3D allows for both automatic and manually monitored start-up. Its power supply is flexible, supporting AC/DC 24 V, AC 115 V, and AC 230 V. The high switching capacity of up to 8 A at 250 VAC (ohmic load) ensures reliable switching operations. The device has three instantaneous safety contacts and one signaling output.

Simple mounting and modular design with fixed screw terminals, pluggable screw terminals, or push-in spring terminals in TWIN design ensure quick and secure installation. Additional accessories such as pluggable terminal sets and spacers are available to guarantee safe operation.
