The SCB-02: Secure Timer with 2 Relay Contacts

The SCB-02 is a compact, versatile safety timer that meets the highest safety standards. With its 2 secure relay contacts, it enables tamper-proof shutdown of machines and systems in hazardous situations. The safety function can be used for emergency stop monitoring, sliding guard door monitoring, light grid monitoring, interlocks, and for the continuous operation of combustion plants. Additionally, the SCB-02 supports stop categories 0 and 1.

Thanks to its flexible configuration options, the outputs can be set to switch with on-delay, off-delay, or without delay as needed. The settings are conveniently made using a push/rotary button directly on the device, while the integrated display allows tamper-proof time parameterization.

Another highlight of the SCB-02 is its compatibility with modern safety requirements according to EN ISO 13849-1, EN 62061, and IEC 61508. It offers a space-saving alternative to conventional pneumatic time relays and is available with screw terminals or push-in spring connections.
