The MVisio I/O Module – Multifunctional Plug-In Expansion Module for MVisio HMI

The MVisio I/O module is a versatile plug-in module that serves as an optional expansion module for MVisio HMI systems. This module allows the direct connection of configurable digital and analog inputs and outputs to the HMI, covering a wide range of control and monitoring tasks. In addition to supporting standard digital and analog inputs, the module also enables the configuration of these inputs as encoder or counter inputs, as well as inputs for the measurement of voltage, current, resistance, and temperature.

Combining the MVisio I/O module with an MVisio HMI transforms the system into a fully functional programmable logic controller (PLC). The direct connection of the module to the HMI saves space in the control cabinet, as no additional terminals or wiring are required. This makes the system more compact, efficient, and easier to install.

- 20 optically galvanically isolated digital inputs

- 12 optically isolated digital outputs


• Analog Inputs:
- 4 differential or 8 single-ended analog inputs (not galvanically isolated)
- 12-bit resolution, configurable for the measurement of voltage, current, resistance, or temperature


• Analog Outputs:
- 4 non-galvanically isolated, configurable 12-bit analog outputs


• Special Inputs:
- 1 Pt100 input for cold junction compensation of thermocouples


• Connection and Power Supply:
- Power supply and connection via the following HMI systems:
- MVisio_7 (Order No. 589100)
- MVisio Pro 5 (Order No. 589103)
- MVisio Pro 7 (Order No. 589102)
- Power supply via MVisio Lite is not possible


• Space-saving Design:
- Direct connection to the HMI saves space in the control cabinet
