The ENQ4 electronic alarm system is a compact monitoring and fault detection unit designed to identify and report unacceptable operating conditions. Ideal for industrial applications such as compressors, manufacturing machines, vehicles, and HVAC systems, the ENQ4 features optical displays and a reliable shutdown mechanism for rapid response to faults, minimizing damage and reducing service costs.

Functionality:

• Normal Operation:
- In a fault-free state (all external monitoring contacts closed), the alarm relay contact A1-14 remains closed, and the green LED is illuminated.

• Fault Condition:
- Opening a monitoring contact (S1-S4) activates the corresponding red LED, opens the alarm relay contact A1-14, and facilitates rapid shutdown of the monitored machine/system.
- Memory for sporadic faults; reset by interrupting the power supply.

• Test Mode (S5):
- Closing contact S5 opens the relay contact A1-14; reopening S5 closes A1-14 if no faults are detected.

• Signal Delay:
- A delay of approximately 200 ms at each input and the alarm relay contact filters brief voltage dips.
