Zander Aachen 472191 SRTC 115V 50-60Hz, safety switching device

The SRTC time-delayed safety extension module is designed for use with a base device from the ZANDER SR series, such as SR2C or SR3C. It enables delayed shutdowns of machine components, ideal for applications where machinery must be returned to a safe starting position before stopping the drive. As part of a modular system, the SRTC can be combined with non-delayed extension modules (SREC) to create flexible safety solutions with variable shutdown times and safety contacts.

Functionality:

• System activation:
- The base device supplies DC 24V control voltage to terminals S15 and S16 of the SRTC via a safety contact.
- When the base device is activated, the SRTC safety contacts switch on.

• Time-delayed shutdown:
- When an emergency stop button is pressed, the base device interrupts the control voltage. The SRTC safety contacts open after the set delay time. The supply voltage must remain present during the delay.


Mounting and Installation:

• Protection:
- Must be installed in control cabinets with at least IP54 protection in accordance with EN 60204-1

• Mounting:
- Mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail according to EN 60715 TH35

• Spacing and cooling:
- Maintain at least 10 mm distance from adjacent devices for AC 115 V / 230 V variants
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation within the control cabinet
- Optional spacer (Part No. 472596 by ZANDER AACHEN) available
