Zander Aachen 472190 SRTC 230V 50-60Hz, safety switching device

The SRTC is a time-delayed safety extension module designed for use with a base device from the ZANDER SR series, such as SR2C or SR3C. It enables a safe, delayed shutdown of machine components in accordance with STOP Category 1. This is particularly beneficial when returning machines to a defined position is safer than an immediate stop. As part of a modular system, the SRTC can be combined with non-delayed extension modules (SREC) to create a flexible system with varying shutdown times and safety contacts.

Functionality:

• System activation:
- The base device supplies DC 24V control voltage to the SRTC via its safety contacts, which connect to terminals S15 and S16.
- When the base device is activated, the safety contacts of the SRTC switch on immediately.

• Time-delayed shutdown:
- When an emergency stop button is pressed, the base device interrupts the control voltage. The SRTC safety contacts open after the set delay time (the supply voltage must remain connected during the delay).


Mounting and Installation:

• Protection:
- Must be installed in control cabinets with at least IP54 protection in accordance with EN 60204-1

• Mounting:
- Mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail according to EN 60715 TH35

• Spacing and cooling:
- Maintain at least 10 mm distance from adjacent devices for AC 115 V / 230 V variants
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation within the control cabinet
- Optional spacer (Part No. 472596 by ZANDER AACHEN) available
