The WERMA Blitz-Sirene 43901068 is a robust combination of optical and acoustic signaling device, specifically designed for industrial applications. It features 32 different tones, which can be selected according to the application, and allows for application-specific volume control up to 105 dB(A) at a distance of 1 m. The separate control of light and sound signals enables two-stage signaling, with two tones externally controllable – ideal for complex warning and alarm concepts in production environments. The device is designed for wall mounting and offers high reliability thanks to IP66 protection rating, enabling dust- and water-tight operation even outdoors.

The optical signal is based on a xenon light source with flashing function (1 Hz, 2 J) and a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, while the acoustic signal has a lifespan of at least 5,000 hours. The operating voltage range is 115–230 V AC, with a nominal voltage of 230 VAC. Connections are made via screw terminals, supplemented by a cable gland for secure cable entry.
