Das Gerät ist ein industrieller PoE-Injektor mit zwei Gigabit-ETHERNET-Ports. Ein ETHERNET-Port (IEEE 802.3 af/at/bt/4PPoE) ermöglicht die Energieversorgung von PoE-Endgeräten (Powered Devices) mit einer Energie von bis zu 51 Watt. Hierbei liegt die Einspeiseleistung des PoE-Injektors (Power Sourcing Equipment) bei bis zu 60 Watt. Die automatische Erkennung der Übertragungsrate (Autonegotiation) sowie die selbstständige Ermittlung der Sende- und Empfangsleitungen (Auto MDI-X) ermöglichen einen einfachen 'Plug & Play'-Betrieb.
Die kompakte Bauform mit Tragschienenadapter ermöglicht eine einfache Installation im Schaltschrank bei hoher Temperatur-, Vibrations- und Schockbeständigkeit. Der integrierte Spannungswandler ermöglicht den Betrieb mit der im Schaltschrank üblichen Versorgungsspannung von DC 24 V. Aussagekräftige Status-LEDs, eine redundante Spannungsversorgung sowie ein per Dip-Schalter konfigurierbarer Alarmkontakt erhöhen die Verfügbarkeit des PoE-Injektors in Betrieb und sorgen zusätzlich für eine einfache Handhabung.
