Der Switch 852-1605/000-001 ist ein industrieller Managed-ETHERNET-Switch mit 8 RJ-45 Gigabit ETHERNET-Ports 10/100/1000BASE-T/TX und 4 Gigabit SFP-Ports 1000BASE-X/LX/SX/ZX (Module sind optional erhältlich).
Der Switch besitzt ein robustes Gehäuse mit Tragschienenadapter, eine redundante Spannungsversorgung und eine Funktionsüberwachung mit Alarmrelais. Das PROFINET-Zertifikat (Konformitätsklasse B) garantiert eine einfache Integration in PROFINET-Automatisierungssysteme mittels Gerätebeschreibungsdatei (GSD). Außerdem unterstützt das Gerät die PROFINET Netload Class II.
Das Gerät ünterstützt eine flexible Konfiguration der Multi-Portspiegelung über die Gerätebeschreibungsdatei oder dem Web-Based-Management. Mit Hilfe von Funktionsbausteinen kann die zyklische Diagnose des PROFINET-Switches im TIA-Portal effizient implementiert werden. Hierfür steht ein Anwendungshinweis zur Verfügung.
