Cable protection pipe seal for pipe inner diameters 125-180 mm (-210 mm with extension component RDSS-AD-210). System with sealing sleeve and sealing star. Flexible plastic laminate bag coated on both sides with sealing strips. Waterproof sealing of power cables in plastic pipes, metal pipes and cement pipes as well as in core drillings. Patented gel valve prevents pressure losses and ensures permanent tightness of the system. Easy to disassemble. A round, smooth-walled inner surface is required. When used in installation pipes, a pressure load capacity of at least 3 bar must be ensured. The watertightness was tested under an applied pressure of 0.3 bar when the cables were subjected to vibration, bending, torsion, tension and shear. The chemical and bacterial resistance was also tested. In accordance with VDE 0278 Part 1, load change tests were carried out with conductor temperatures of up to 90 °C. By measuring and calculating the diffusion rate, an average service life of 30 years was determined. The sealing behavior after 30 years was simulated and confirmed by leak tests with reduced internal pressure.
