Triton RAC-UP-250-A4 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) intermediate shelf, 250 mm, front mounting, light grey, content_copy

The Triton RAC-UP-250-A4 is a 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) shelf plate in the height unit 1U, designed for front mounting in standard 19-inch racks. It serves as a stable base plate for devices that cannot be directly mounted on rack rails, such as converters, routers, NAS systems, or external USB hard drives. The shelf plate is 250 mm deep and made of sheet steel, ensuring high mechanical stability. The colour is light grey (RAL7035), enabling visual harmony with other rack components.

Applications
This shelf plate is designed for use in IT and network cabinets where a solid, load-bearing base is required for non-rack-mountable devices. It is particularly suitable for applications in server rooms, data centres, office IT infrastructures, or when installing network peripherals. The perforated surface enables efficient air circulation and heat dissipation, reducing thermal stress on devices located below.

Functions and equipment in detail
The shelf plate is fixedly mounted at the front and offers a maximum load capacity of 20 kg at a depth of 250 mm. The front mounting allows for easy integration into existing rack systems. The perforated construction ensures optimal ventilation and prevents overheating of devices placed underneath.

Technology explained simply
The 1U height corresponds to a standard rack module widely used in the IT and electronics industry worldwide. The depth of 250 mm is sufficient for many standard IT devices to be securely accommodated. The sheet steel material provides high strength and resistance to mechanical stress. The light grey colour (RAL7035) is standard in IT infrastructure and ensures a uniform appearance within the rack. The perforated surface supports cooling by enabling airflow through the rack.

Compatibility and accessories
The shelf plate is intended for 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) rack mounting and can be mounted either at the front or rear, depending on the rack system. It is compatible with standard 19-inch rails and fits into racks with corresponding mounting holes. Suitable accessories include additional shelf plates in similar dimensions, such as a 1U model with 300 mm depth, also in light grey, enabling flexible adaptation to different device sizes.

Mounting and installation
Installation is performed using pre-formed brackets on the underside of the shelf plate. The delivery includes 8x M6x10 mm screws, 8x plastic washers, 8x M6 cage nuts, 8x M5x12 mm screws, and 4x rear brackets. These components enable secure fastening to the rack rails. Installation requires tools, but no special tools are needed beyond a screwdriver or appropriate wrench.

Advantages in operation
The shelf plate provides a stable platform for non-rack-mountable devices, ensuring safe and orderly installation. The perforated construction improves cooling and reduces the risk of overheating. The front mounting allows easy integration into existing systems, and the light grey colour ensures visual uniformity within the rack. The maximum load capacity of 20 kg at 250 mm depth is sufficient for most applications, especially when used with light to medium-weight IT devices.

Delivery contents
The item is delivered with mounting materials consisting of 8x M6x10 mm screws, 8x plastic washers, 8x M6 cage nuts, 8x M5x12 mm screws, and 4x rear brackets. These components are intended for mounting on 19-inch rack rails and enable secure fastening of the shelf plate.
