Overview
FMC230 is a water and dust protected tracker with 4G (LTE Cat 1) network coverage including 2G (GSM) fallback compatibility. It is equipped with internal GNSS, LTE antennas, configurable digital/analog/negative and pulse inputs, three DOUT outputs, Bluetooth connectivity and backup battery.
FMC230 was developed on the existing Teltonika platform and therefore retains all the functionalities of FMC130 with an additional IP67 resistance to dust and water.
This tracker is dustproof and protected from the effects of temporary immersion in water. It can be mounted inside and outside a vehicle without fear that high pressure water, mud or dusty environment will affect its operation or performance quality. This is particularly relevant for the industries that experience harsh conditions, such as agriculture, construction and mining, and more.
For starters, the FMC230 features a negative input that allows you to save valuable integration time while connecting accessories such as vehicle door sensor, alarm buttons, seat belt detection and other similar sensors or accessories.
Additionally, the device has a built-in capability to provide Pulse Input for precise fuel flow meter data reading. Pulse-based fuel consumption monitoring is much more accurate than any other type of fuel metering sensors, making the FMC230 a perfect solution for high fuel consumption machines such as cranes, construction vehicles, mining equipment and agricultural equipment.
