Telegärtner fiber optic connectors are equipped with high-quality pins and slotted sleeves for a long service life. Installation on cables or fibers can be carried out quickly and easily on site using the tools and aids provided. The pre-formed convex face of the pin ensures short polishing times and excellent optical properties. All fiber optic connectors comply with the applicable international standards. ST and SC connectors with metal ferrules are available for use with POF (Plastic Optical Fiber) and PCF (Polymer Cladded Fiber) fibers. These can be connected to the cable using the simplest of aids and without adhesive. The requirement to achieve a packing density similar to that of RJ45 connectors for fiber optic applications has led to the development of new fiber optic connector systems known as SFF (= Small Form Factor). Telegärtner offers the LC design for this purpose. The space required in front panels or junction boxes is only about half as much as with conventional connectors such as ST or SC. We offer a complete series for network installation for this system: plugs, couplings, patch cables, adapter cables for other plug systems, connection boxes suitable for standard switch ranges and with guaranteed bending radii, patch panels with and without drawer pull-outs as well as wall distributors in various sizes and for DIN rail mounting. The connectors of the APC (Angled Physical Contact) series with an 8° bevel on the connector face have been developed for routes where particularly high reflection attenuation of better than 60 dB is required.
