The cable feed can be selected from 8 sides in 45-degree increments. With its low installation depth and the parts of the support ring that can be removed without tools, the AMJ45 can also be installed where other boxes take up too much space. The wires of the data cable are conveniently placed from the front, which enables simple and time-saving installation even with short cable ends and confined spaces. Thanks to the earthing connections on all four corners, the AMJ45 can also be easily integrated into special earthing and equipotential bonding systems. The box meets the transmission properties of class 5e according to ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173-1.
The patented, integrated contact over-bending protection protects the connection contacts if RJ11 or RJ12 plugs from telephone or fax machines are accidentally plugged in. Even after repeated incorrect plugging, the AMJ45 offers the full data rate. The contacts of the AMJ45 are optimized for remote powering of end devices (Remote Powering, Power over Ethernet): Breakaway sparks that occur when the plug is unplugged under load do not reach the contact areas used for data transmission.
The AMJ45 is included in Telegärtner's 25-year system guarantee program.
