The TBCG1 is an active radiating comb generator with an integrated antenna. It emits a specified frequency comb spectrum up to 6 GHz. The TBCG1 is designed as a rough reference as part of tests for interference emissions in anechoic rooms, TEM/GTEM cells, umbrella tents, etc. Due to its high number of equidistant modes, TEM cells, for example, can be easily measured with a mode spacing of 100 MHz. The TBCG1 emits over a wide spectrum that significantly exceeds the limits in the CISPR standards for emitted interference radiation. Only use the device in a shielded environment to avoid interference with other electronic devices.
Switch the device off again immediately after use to avoid excessive battery drain (I = 175 mA).
