Hybrid telephone systems combine analogue (a/b), ISDN (S0/S2M) and VoIP (SIP) interfaces in one device and are ideal for companies transitioning from ISDN to all-IP. They allow simultaneous use of ISDN system phones, analogue terminals and SIP IP phones on a shared PBX without additional gateways. Auerswald COMpact 5020 VoIP and Agfeo ES 516 IT are typical hybrid systems for small to medium companies (up to 30 extensions). SIP trunking capability enables operation via all-IP lines while ISDN system phones can continue to be used.

Both support ISDN S0, analogue a/b ports and VoIP channels simultaneously. For >30 extensions, larger Auerswald COMpact series are suitable. |
