Der Servomotor und der Servo-Umrichter werden lediglich mit nur einem Kabel statt der sonst üblichen zwei oder drei Leitungen miteinander verbunden. Bei dieser Ein-Kabel-Technik mit Schnellverschluss SPEED-CONNECT werden Leistung, Geber-Anbindung und Bremsenansteuerung in einer Leitung zusammengefasst. Daraus ergeben sich einige Vorteile, z. B. die zeitsparende Verlegung von nur einer Leitung und dem geringeren Installationsraum bzw. Platzbedarf bei der Kabelführung. Auch von Vorteil ist, dass nur noch ein Kabel gereinigt werden muss, besonders in Industrien, in denen erhöhte Anforderungen an die Hygiene gestellt werden. Das Kabel ist außerdem Dezimetergenau bestellbar und verfügt über einen motorseitigen M17- bzw. M12-Anschlussstecker (kleinster OCC-Stecker weltweit). Eine einfache Montage ermöglicht auch bei beengten Platzverhältnissen der kompakte Motor mit kleinem, drehbarem Stecker. Die Leitung ist umrichterseitig in der Schutzart IP20 und motorseitig in der Schutzart IP20 ausgeführt. Optimierte Anschlusstechnik durch OCC (One Cable Connection) Verkaufseinheit: 1 ST.
