SITOR fuse link, with slotted blade contacts, NH1, In: 160 A, aR, Un AC: 1000 V, front indicator fuses for the high demands in photovoltaic applications. Siemens photovoltaic fuses are specially designed to protect PV modules and ensure high system availability over the entire service life of the PV system. The fuses have a high DC rated voltage and can withstand the highest temperature fluctuations without damage. All Siemens photovoltaic fuse systems therefore comply with the IEC 60269-6 standard. The photovoltaic fuses are characterized above all by: 1. Reliable protection of the modules and the module connection cables in the event of reverse currents. 2. Compliance with the UL standard UL 2579 (for IEC cylinder fuses). 3. Safe shutdown in the event of fault currents and thus a reduction in the risk of fire from DC arcs. 4. Safe separation when the fuse holder / fuse base is open. 5. Long service life despite frequent and strongly changing load currents.
