Das SITOR-Sicherungssystem von Siemens als wichtiger Bestandteil der SENTRON Schutzkomponenten für die Elektroinstallation bietet effektiven Personen-, Geräte- und Anlagenschutz durch sicheres Abschalten im Überlast- und Kurzschlussfall. Der Einsatzbereich umfasst zusätzlich Frequenzumrichter mit Sicherungen im Eingangs- und im DC-Zwischenkreis sowie auch USV-Anlagen und Sanftstarter für Motoren. Die Siemens SITOR-Sicherungen zeichnen sich vor allem aus durch: 1. Superflinke Abschaltcharakteristik im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen NH-Sicherungen. 2. Auch Leistungshalbleiter werden bei Kurzschluss sicher geschützt. 3. Der Siemens Qualitätsstandard sichert eine sehr gute Kennlinientreue. 4. SITOR-Zylindersicherungen sind nach IEC und UL und größtenteils auch CCC zugelassen und damit weltweit einsetzbar. 5. Teilweise geeignet für den Einbau in NH-Sicherungsunterteile, in NH-Sicherungslasttrennschalter und Lasttrennschalter mit Sicherungen.
