This line choke is an option for variable speed drives of the Altivar range. Its nominal current is equal to 4A. It provides improved protection against overvoltages on the mains supply and helps reduce the harmonic distortion of the current generated by the inverter. Its degree of protection is IP00. It has an inductance of 10mH. It weighs 1.5 kg and has the following dimensions: 100 mm wide, 135 mm high, 60 mm deep. Its use is particularly recommended when several inverters are connected in close parallel, when the mains supply is subject to significant disturbances from other equipment (interference, overvoltages). As well as when the mains supply has voltage imbalance between the phases.
