This compact I/O extension block offers 42 inputs/outputs with discrete input logic as sink and discrete output logic as source. It is equipped with a removable spring terminal block for electrical connection. It is an extension block with a current consumption of 70mA at 5V DC and 140mA at 24V DC I/O, a maximum power dissipation of 3.71W and a nominal I/O voltage of 24V DC. It is an IP20 certified product. The housing is made of white plastic. It weighs 0.24 kg. The Modicon TM5 meets the typical requirements of production and packaging machines as well as material flow and assembly systems. This product is certified by CE, C-Tick, CSA, GOST-R and CULus. It complies with IEC 61131-2, UL 508, CSA C22.2 No 213 and CSA C22.2 No 142 standards. It supports DIN rail mounting. This modular IP20 IO system offers a flexible and scalable configuration of extensions/distributed I/O islands. This is possible by connecting to Modicon controllers (TM5 bus) or via CANopen bus/Sercos bus for Modicon and PacDrive 3 controllers. Flexible and scalable, designed for complex machines.
