Modicon M221 PLC controller in compact format with 0.2µs / Boolean instruction for the automation of simple industrial machines. A total of 40 integrated I/Os, of which 24 are digital (20 standard with 5kHz and 4 HSC with 100kHz) inputs, 16 digital outputs. Additionally 2 analog (0V to 10V / 10Bit) inputs. An Ethernet interface with RJ45 socket for EtherNet/IP (adapter) and Modbus TCP. An RS485/RS232 interface with RJ45 socket for Modbus ASCII/RTU Master/Slave, ASCII character string, Modbus Serial IO Scanner. The power supply is via 100VAC to 240VAC. The digital outputs are designed as relays (2A). Can be expanded with up to two plug-in modules. 640 kB integrated RAM memory and 2 MB flash memory. Integrated control for up to 2 coordinated axes. Position Control (PTO) with trapezoidal or S-profile for 2 axes in pulse direction (P/D) mode or one axis in CW/CCW mode. Equipped with a slot for SD card, a USB mini-B port for programming, a run/stop switch and QR code for direct access to technical documentation. Local and decentralized I/O expansion with Modicon TM3 I/O system. Programming and configuration using free EcoStruxure Machine Expert - Basic software (download from www.se.com). PLC programming according to IEC 61131-3 in the programming languages instruction list (IL), ladder diagram (LD) or sequential function chart (Grafcet list/SFC). Connection via removable screw terminal block. Ambient temperature during operation -15°C to +50°C. Installation on 35mm DIN rail or directly on control panel. Certified to CE, cULus Listing Mark, CSA, RCM, EAC, LR, ABS, DNV-GL, cCSAus Hazardous Zone.
